Arriving in Chiang Mai, I was half expecting a bunch of hippies and locals relaxing away with Pad Thai and fruit smoothies. Instead, I found a treasure trove of street art. We spent a fair amount of time on a scooter and wandering on foot in the city. Therefore, we came across a solid representation of art. One of the hotels we stayed at was situated on a little alley system that yielded quite a few gems.
This time, I also tried to keep track of our discoveries so that we could pass that information on to you. Please refer to the Google map here for that information.

Great shots! I have spent just a short time in Chiang Mai and mostly went to temples, such a pitty I didn´t really pay much attention to the street art!
Lots and lots of temples to see in Chiang Mai. Street art seems to be growing in popularity in and around CM.
Thanks GirlAstray. We enjoyed the temples as well. The street art was one of those, once you notice it, then you see it everywhere kind of thing.
