Upon arrival in Reykjavik, my first question was, were there any surprises left for Iceland? Having just traversed the Ring road and seen all of Iceland’s natural marvels, I knew it would take something special to wow me. I am happy to say that it rose to the task. Reykjavik is the capital city of Iceland and houses just over one-third of the country’s 323,000 residents. From a city whose reputation as a hot spot for nightclubs is world-renowned, it had a lot of other surprises to offer us, especially in the Street Art department. Within 5 mins of being on the ground, we spotted several examples of exceptional work, and I continued to do so throughout our walk.

i love it! I love street art! my fave so far is the ones in the shoreditch area of london!
Thank you jusztravel. I am a huge fan of street art too. I like London’s as well, but I’m finding the more I see the harder it is for me to pick a favorite.
Amazing street art! I really love the Ganesh. I am heading to Iceland in April next year, so I will have to look out for it! 😉
Thanks Amy! The Ganesh was my favorite as well. It was down an extremely narrow alley, and even with my wide angle lens it was a challenge to capture; but quite impressive in person.
