The World Famous Portobello Road Market runs through the Notting Hill neighborhood of London, England.
Tourists and locals alike partake in the fun. It is one of London’s largest and most exciting markets; you never know what you will find. Not only was it the setting for the movie Notting Hill with Hugh Grant, but it is also Europe’s largest antique market. No trip to London is complete without making a trek to Portobello Road to visit the market. Saturday is the busiest day, but it can also be enjoyed on Friday. Things get started around 9 in the morning.

Awesome photos! I love the “street feel”, very lively! Am a big fan of these antique markets, it’s like a treasure hunt!
What a cool place! It looks perfectly London and is just what I’d want to experience. And now I’m singing that song from the movie Bedknobs and Broomsticks…
Beautiful impressions of one of my favourite markets in the world. I just posted a photo essay on it myself!
Thank you. It is one of my favorite markets as well. I took a look at your post and really enjoyed it, perhaps one day we can meet up and shoot it together. Thanks for stopping by.
That’s a great idea! 🙂
