Iceland has been in the news a lot and all the talk of several travelers these days. All the good stuff you have heard about it is true. Iceland is utterly fantastic. The diversity in landscape and the sheer beauty of it all will capture your heart in no time.
My first question upon arrival in Reykjavik was, could there been any surprises left for Iceland? Having just traversed the Ring road and seen all of Iceland’s natural marvels, I knew it was going to take something special to wow me. I am happy to say that it rose to the task. Reykjavik is the capital city of Iceland and houses just over one third of the countries 323,000 residents. From a city whose reputation as a hot spot for nightclubs is world renowned, it had a lot of other surprises to offer us. Especially in the Street Art department. Within 5 mins of being on the ground we had spotted several examples of prime work, and I continued to do so throughout our walk. To see more street art in other cities see a full list here.
